My interest in radio began more than 50 years ago and I was licensed in 1954 with call sign KN2UBT...I upgraded to a Technician class and General Class as WA2ANY and WA7QXH and Extra as NI7T in 1984. Over the years, the radio hobby has had a central place in my life. One of my first jobs after high school was as a clerk in an electronics store selling ham radio equipment.
I was drafted into the Army in 1966 and again Ham radio skills placed me in a communications job in Viet Nam. Assigned to the 125TH Signal Battalion 25TH Infantry Division I became the principal techie and operator for the Division MARS station AB8AJ. I am now retired from a career as a telecommunication manager in the federal service.
My new station in Quincy is under construction but at the moment is an on the air with wire antennas strung in the trees.
Need a QSL from an old contact in UTAH? Please QSL direct with an SASE for a QSL card from UTAH, Carbon County, and DM49 to my California address. I have a pile of cards to send out as time permits and appreciate if you do not send duplicates. Thank You and 73 Mike
